Gefran SpA (MI: GE) is an independent, Italy-based industrial sensor and automation system manufacturing firm which was established in 1960 and which has been listed on the Italian stock exchange since 1998. Headquartered in Brescia, the firm supplies automation components and systems to manufacturers of industrial machinery on a global basis in the capital goods B2B segment. Their business is divided into components for automation, system integration, sensors and motion control. In 2003, they acquired SIEI SpA, a leading Italian manufacturer of electronic actuators for regulating motor speeds, to enable Gefran Group to integrate their range of products. Gefran Group operates directly in major international markets through branches in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Belgium, Spain, US, Brazil, China, Singapore and India and through production branches in China, Germany, Brazil and the US.
