The Assurance services segment engages in the assessing system and product conformity to international and locally based standards; providing a suite of services across the food value chain, from agricultural production through to the point of sale or service, aimed specifically at managing risks within the supply chain and improving the quality, safety and security of food products; providing tools for improving critical business processes and providing standards related training and business improvement solutions. The Corporate services segment provides company secretarial, legal, financial, information technology, human resource management, investor and public relations and internal audit services to the group, and central management services to the business units. The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
