US Ecology, Inc. is a hazardous, polychlorinated biphenyl, non-hazardous and radioactive waste services company, which provides industrial waste management and recycling services to commercial and government entities, including refineries and chemical production facilities, manufacturers, electric utilities, steel mills, medical and academic institutions and waste brokers. It operates business through two business segments: Operating Disposal Facilities and Non-Operating Disposal Facilities. The Operating Disposal Facilities segment accepts hazardous, LARM and LLRW and includes its RCRA hazardous waste treatment and disposal facilities. The Non-Operating Disposal Facility segment represents facilities which are not accepting hazardous or radioactive waste or formerly proposed new facilities. US Ecology was founded in 1952 and is headquartered in Boise, ID.
