The company operates through four segments: Corporate Finance, Trading and Sales, Retail and Consumer Banking and Commercial Banking. The Corporate Finance segment provides underwriting, securitization, investment banking, syndications, IPO related activities (excluding investments) and secondary private placements. The Trading and Sales segment provides fixed income, equity, foreign exchange commodities, lending to financial institutions and brokerage debt. The Retail and Consumer Banking segment provides retail lending and deposits, banking services, private lending and deposits, banking services and retail offered to its retail customers and small and medium enterprises. The Commercial Banking segment provides project finance, export finance, trade finance, leasing, lending, guarantees and bills of exchange relating to its corporate customers. It was founded on July 9, 1947 and is headquartered in Lahore, Pakistan
