Apollo Investment Corp. is a closed-end, externally managed, non-diversified management investment company. Its primary investment objective is to generate current income and capital appreciation. It invests primarily in the form of mezzanine, subordinated debt, as well as by making investments in certain senior secured loans and/or equity in private middle market companies. Its initial investment size ranges from $20 to $250 million.
