Wilmar International Ltd. is an investment holding company that engages in the agricultural business. Its subsidiaries operates through the following segments: Plantations and Palm Oil Mills, Merchandising and Processing, Merchandising and Processing, Consumer Products, and Sugar. The Plantations and Palm Oil Mills segment which owns oil palm plantation in Indonesia and Malaysia. The Merchandising and Processing segment includes processing and merchandising palm and lauric oils; processing raw materials such as crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil into bulk edible oils, biodiesel, oleochemicals and specialty fats; and owns and operates palm and lauric oils processing plants. The Merchandising and Processing segment processes oilseeds and edible oils in China, crushes oilseeds, and owns and operates crushing facilities and mills in China. The Consumer Products segment blends, packs and markets edible oil products under its own brand; and manufactures consumer pack rice and flour. The Sugar segment includes the milling of sugarcane to produce raw sugar, and refining of raw sugar to produce food-grade products. The company was founded by Kuok Khoon Hong and Martua Sitorus in 1991 and is headquartered in Singapore.

Executives

Kuok Khoon Hong, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr Kuok Khoon Hong, 61, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Group. He is overall in charge of management of the Group with a particular focus on new business development. He has extensive experience in the industry and has been involved in the grains, edible oils and oilseeds businesses since 1973. Mr Kuok has completed many projects involving the establishment of oil palm plantations in Asia and the processing of grains, edible oils and oilseeds. He has held several key executive positions in various companies, including General Manager of Federal Flour Mills Bhd from 1986 to 1991, and Managing Director of Kuok Oils & Grains Pte Ltd from 1989 to 1991. Mr Kuok graduated from the then University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Mr Kuok was appointed on 24 March 2006 and was last re-elected on 29 April 2009.

Martua Sitorus, Chief Operating Officer

Mr Martua Sitorus, 51, is the Chief Operating Officer of the Group. He is in charge of the plantation, manufacturing, palm and biodiesel trading operations of the Group. Mr Sitorus has been instrumental in the development of the Group's business operations in Indonesia. He holds a degree in economics from HKBP Nomensen University in Medan, Indonesia. Mr Sitorus was appointed on 14 July 2006 and was last re-elected on 29 April 2008.

Mr Goh Ing Sing, Head of Plantations Division

Mr Goh was appointed as the Head of Plantations Division in July 2008 and has served as the Head of Indonesian Plantations since 1992. He has held various managerial positions with plantation companies from 1976 to 1992. He received his Executive Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Preston University, USA and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the Universtiy of New South Wales.
