The Components Technology segment offers components for the automotive, construction, and engineering sectors as well as for wind turbines. The Marine Systems segment focuses on the construction of naval vessels, submarines, and yachts. The Stainless Global segment supplies flat stainless steel products, nickel alloys, and titanium. The Corporate segment comprises the business services activities in the areas of finance, communications, information technology, and human resources. The company was founded in March 1999 and is headquartered in Essen, Germany.
