Tom Ross OBE, Chairman and Independent Non-Executive Director
Appointed on 2 February 2001. Is a consulting actuary and formerly a Principal at Aon Ltd. He is chairman of the Trustee Board of the Smiths Industries Pension Scheme and was, until recently, a director of the Royal London Mutual Insurance Society. He is a former Chairman of the Trustee Board of the Alstom UK Pension Scheme.
Christopher Purvis CBE, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director
Christopher Purvis spent most of his career with S G Warburg & Co. and its successor companies. He has had extensive experience of the investment management industry as a director of a number of investment trusts and through his charitable trusteeships.
David Hager, Independent Non-Executive Director
David Hager, appointed on 23 February 2007. He is a consulting actuary and principal at Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow Limited, specialising in investment advice to pension funds. He is also a director of Kerr Henderson Hewitt Ltd.
Kevin Ingram, Independent Non-Executive Director
Kevin, a Chartered Accountant, was, until recently, an Audit Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and headed their UK Investment Funds practice from 2000 to 2007. His specialisation has been in financial services, with particular focus on securities and investment management.
Wendy Mayall, Independent Non-Executive Director
Appointed on 2 March 2012. Group Chief Investment Offier to Liverpool Victoria. Former strategic adviser to Stamford Associates Limited, and, prior to that, Chief Investment Officer and Chairman of Unilver's UK Pension Scheme.
Paul Yates, Independent Non-Executive Director
Appointed on 2 March 2012. Paul is a non-executive partner of 33 St James, a firm of management consultants and executive search consultants. He has had a long career in investment management, mainly in UBS, where he held a number of global roles.
