Dunedin Enterprise is the only UK listed investment trust with an ongoing mandate to invest exclusively in the UK lower mid-market. The Trust is able to offer investors a uniquely focussed opportunity to invest solely in unquoted small and medium sized UK businesses direct. We operate an active distribution policy whereby a proportion of capital proceeds from realised investments are returned to shareholders in addition to dividend distributions. Our investment objective is to achieve substantial long term capital growth from our investments and we aim to achieve a rate of return on equity in excess of 8% per annum over the long-term. Our new commitments are purely in UK lower mid-market management buyouts with an enterprise value of approximately £20m to £100m. This gives our non-institutional shareholders a focussed opportunity to access the UK lower mid-market not readily available elsewhere.
