Company Description
The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with an attractive return from a diversified portfolio of investments predominantly in the shares of AIM companies. The Company revoked its status as an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985 on 17-Aug-2004. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988. Investment management services are provided by Unicorn Asset Management Ltd for an annual fee of 2% of the net asset value of the Company, excluding the value of the investments in the OEICs payable quarterly in advance together with any applicable VAT. The agreement is for an initial period of three years and thereafter until their appointment is terminated by not less than one year's notice in writing.
