Lowland Investment was founded in September 1960 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Peter Troughton (Chairman), is Vice-Chairman of Archant Ltd and a non-executive director of a number of private companies. He is also a Director of the Waverton Funds and of JOHIM Global Funds plc.
