Royal Vopak NV engages in the storage and handling of oil products, chemicals, vegetable oils, and liquified gases. It operates specialized facilities including product tanks, jetties, truck loading stations and pipelines, and provides access to road and rail networks. The companies segments are as follows: Chemicals Europe, Middle East and Africa which operates 16 terminals for bulk liquid chemicals storage; Oil Europe, Middle East and Africa which supplies tank storage services for crude and mineral oil products; the Asia division which operates 27 terminals in eleven countries where various logistic functions are combined, ranging from import and export, to regional distribution functions; the North America segment which operates nine terminals used mainly for the storage of chemicals and oil; and the Latin America segment which uses a majority of its 14 terminals for the storage of imported chemicals and vegetable oil for export. The company was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Education: Masters Degree in Economics Career: Eelco Hoekstra has been active in the international tank storage industry since 1995 and joined Vopak in 2003. At Vopak, he held various management positions in the United Arab Emirates, Argentina and Singapore. Until his appointment to the Executive Board, he was President of Vopak Asia. Member of the Executive Board since November 2010.
Jack de Kreij, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer
Education: Chartered Accountant (RA), Certified Management Accountant Career: Jack de Kreij was employed with the Dutch Ministry of Finance from 1980 until 1986. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1986 and was, amongst others, Manager Merger & Acquisitions (New York). After being appointed Partner in 1990, he fulfilled several management roles within PwC. Before being appointed as member of the Executive Board of Vopak, he was Senior Partner and Territory Leader in the Netherlands for PwC's Transaction Services. Education: PhD in Astrophysics, Masters in Mathematics and in Astronomy Career: Frits Eulderink joined the Dutch Royal Shell Group in 1990, where he held various technical and management positions in the Netherlands, North America, Africa and the Middle-East, including in the field of Exploration & Production. Until the end of 2009 he was Vice President Unconventional Oil in Houston (United States). Member of the Executive Board since April 2010.
