The Trucking operating segment consists of general freight service, which either utilizes its own equipment or the equipment owned by independent contractors for the pick-up and delivery of freight; and dedicated freight service offerings transports freight over irregular routes as a short- to medium-haul common carrier. The Strategic Capacity Solutions operating segment consists of its freight brokerage service offerings. The Intermodal operating segment consists of rail intermodal services. It transports various types of freight for a diverse customer base in industries, such as industrial machinery and equipment, rubber and plastics, retail stores, paper products, durable consumer goods, metals, electronics and chemicals. USA Truck was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Van Buren, AR.
