The Specialty Commercial segment includes E&S Commercial, which handles primarily commercial and medical professional liability insurance products and services in the excess and surplus lines market, General Aviation unit handles general aviation insurance products and services and Excess & Umbrella business unit offers low and middle market commercial umbrella and excess liability insurance on both an admitted and non-admitted basis focusing primarily on trucking, specialty automobile and non-fleet automobile coverage. The Personal segment consists of Personal Lines business unit which handles non-standard personal automobile insurance and complementary personal insurance products and services. It also engages in marketing, distributing, underwriting and servicing property and casualty insurance products that require specialized underwriting expertise or market knowledge. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Fort Worth, TX.
