The Licensing segment is engaged in the licensing of the Steve Madden and Steven by Steve Madden trademarks for use in connection with the manufacture, marketing and sale of sunglasses, eyewear, outerwear, bedding, hosiery, women's fashion apparel, jewelry and luggage. It distributes products through department stores, specialty stores, luxury retailers, national chains, mass merchants and catalog retailers. The company was founded by Steven L.
