Dril-Quip operates through three segments: Western Hemisphere, Eastern Hemisphere, and Asia-Pacific. The Western Hemisphere includes North and South America headquartered in Houston, Texas. The Eastern Hemisphere segment includes Europe and Africa headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Asia-Pacific segment includes Pacific Rim, Southeast Asia, Australia, India and the Middle East headquartered in Singapore. The company was founded by Larry E. Reimert, Gary D. Smith and J. Mike Walker in 1981 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
