It operates through five segments include Eastern, Western, Site-Built, Consumer Products and Distribution divisions. The Eastern division segment manufactures pallets, containers and bins for agricultural and industrial customers. The Western division segment supplies roof trusses and cut-to-size lumber to manufactured housing customers. The Consumer Products segment offers a large portfolio of outdoor living products, including wood composite decking, decorative balusters, post caps and plastic lattice. The Distribution segment offers distributes shingle underlayment, bottom board, house wrap, siding, poly film and other products to manufactured housing and RV customers. Universal Forest Products was founded in 1955 and is headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI.
