The Specialty Products segment produces beverage packaging equipment and consumables, product coding and marking equipment and consumables, and appliance components and fasteners. Illinois Tool Works was founded by Byron L. Smith in 1912 and is headquartered in Glenview, IL.

E. Scott Santi, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Santi joined the company in 1983 and has spent his entire career with ITW. He was elected Executive Vice President of ITW’s global Welding businesses in October of 2004 and elected Vice Chairman in December of 2008. In October 2012, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Santi graduated from the University of Illinois in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Accounting and received a Masters in Business Administration from the JL Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in 1992. Mr. Santi is a member of the Board of Directors of W.W. Grainger (GWW). He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ravinia Festival Association, a member of the Board of Trustees of MAPI (Manufacturer’s Alliance), and a member of the Advisory Board of Northwestern University’s Master of Manufacturing and Management (MMM) program. Mr. Santi is also a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Executives Club of Chicago. He and his wife Nancy are founding sponsors of the LEARN Excel charter school through the New Schools for Chicago Fund.
Ronald D. Kropp, Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Green joined ITW�s Legal Department in 1997. Prior to joining ITW, Ms. Green was General Counsel of the Midwest Division of Amtrak, a senior associate at the law firm of Akin Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld in Washington, D.C. and in the legal department of Continental Illinois Bank and Trust Company. Ms. Green has completed over 150 mergers and acquisitions since joining the Company. In 2008, Ms. Green was promoted to Deputy General Counsel with responsibility for the Risk Management Group and ITW�s in-house attorneys in France and China. Ms. Green was elected Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in August, 2011. Ms. Green has also been an adjunct professor at the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
