Thomas Enders , Thomas Enders CEO
Mr Thomas Enders was appointed Chief Executive Officer of EADS in May 2012 after being CEO of Airbus since 2007. Mr Enders studied Economics, Political Science and History at the University of Bonn and at the University of California in Los Angeles. Prior to joining the aerospace industry in 1991 (Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm), he worked, inter alia, as a Member of the Planning Staff of the German Minister of Defence. At MBB and subsequently DASA he held various positions, including Chief of Staff, Director Corporate Development & Technology, and Head of Defence Systems. Following the creation of EADS in 2000, he was appointed CEO of the EADS Defence and Security Systems Division, holding this position until 2005 when he was appointed co-CEO of EADS. Mr Enders has been President of BDLI (German Aerospace Industry Association) since 2005.
Mr. Harald Wilhelm , CFO
Harald Wilhelm was appointed Chief Financial Officer of EADS and Airbus effective 1 June 2012. He will continue serving as Chief Financial Officer of Airbus and as member of the Airbus Executive Committee, roles he held since February 1st 2008. Previously he was Airbus’ Chief Controlling Officer and deputy to the Chief Financial Officer, a position to which he was appointed on 1st January 2007. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President, Airbus Financial Control, a role he held from 2003 to 2006. Harald Wilhelm joined Airbus in 2000 as Senior Vice President, Accounting, Tax and Financial Services. Before joining Airbus, Harald Wilhelm had been Vice President M&A (mergers and acquisitions) at DaimlerChrysler-Aerospace from 1998, where he worked on projects including the integration of Airbus as a single company. Prior to this, he had been Senior Manager M&A at Daimler-Benz Aerospace from 1995 to 1998 and Manager M&A for the company between 1992 and 1993. Born in April 1966 in Munich, Harald Wilhelm has a degree in business studies from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. Married with one daughter, Mr Wilhelm enjoys all types of sports.
