Milton Cooper, Executive Chairman
Milton Cooper is the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Company. Mr. Cooper served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from November 1991 to December 2009. In addition, Mr. Cooper was Director and President of the Company for more than five years prior to November 1991. In 1958, Mr. Cooper, along with a partner, founded the Company’s predecessor. Mr. Cooper led the Company through its IPO and growth over the past five decades. In addition, Mr. Cooper received a National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”) Industry Leadership Award for his significant and lasting contributions to the REIT industry. Mr. Cooper is also a director at Getty Realty Corporation. Mr. Cooper graduated from City College in New York and Brooklyn Law School.
David B. Henry, Vice Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer
David B. Henry was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Company in November 2009 and continues as President, a position he assumed in November 2008. He has been Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors since May of 2001. In his current role, Mr. Henry is responsible for the overall strategic execution of the Company. Mr. Henry joined Kimco Realty Corporation after 23 years at General Electric where he was Chief Investment Officer/Senior Vice President of GE Capital Real Estate, Chairman of GE Capital Investment Advisors as well as responsible for helping manage real estate investments totaling more than $20.0 billion in 11 countries worldwide.
Michael V. Pappagallo, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Michael V. Pappagallo was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company in April 2010, previously Chief Financial Officer, a position he assumed in May 1997. Mr. Pappagallo directs the strategic and day-to-day activities of the Company's shopping center business in addition to overseeing the Company's strategic financial activities. Prior to joining Kimco, Mr. Pappagallo was the Chief Financial Officer of G.E. Capital's Commercial Real Estate Financing business, and held various other financial and business development positions. Mr. Pappagallo's background also includes nine years at the accounting firm KPMG, LLP, where he served as Senior Manager in the audit group, serving a variety of clients in industries ranging from financial services to manufacturing. Mr. Pappagallo is a native of New York City and received an accounting degree from lona College in New Rochelle, NY in 1981. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Glenn G. Cohen, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer
Glenn G. Cohen was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company in June 2010, and continues as Treasurer, a position he has held since 1997. Mr. Cohen directs the Company’s financial and capital strategy and oversees the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and planning, tax, treasury and capital market activities. Prior to joining Kimco in 1995 as Director of Accounting and Taxation, Mr. Cohen served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for U.S. Balloon Manufacturing Company, Chief Financial Officer for EMCO Sales and Service, L.P. and spent six years at the public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (predecessor to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), where he served as a manager in the audit group. Mr. Cohen received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany in 1985. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
