The Health & Public Service operating group serves healthcare payers and providers, as well as government departments and agencies, public service organizations, educational institutions and non-profit organizations around the world. The Health industry group works with healthcare providers, such as hospitals, public health systems, policy-making authorities, health insurers (payers) and industry organizations and associations around the world to improve the quality, accessibility and productivity of healthcare. The Public Service industry group helps governments position themselves for the future by transforming the way they deliver public services and engage with citizens. The Products operating group serves a set of increasingly interconnected consumer-relevant industries. The Products operating group comprises the following industry groups: Air, Freight & Travel Services, Automotive, Consumer Goods & Services, Industrial Equipment, Infrastructure & Transportation Services, Life Sciences and Retail. The Air, Freight & Travel Services industry group serves airlines, freight and logistics companies, and travel services companies, including hotels, tour operators, rental car companies and cruise operators. The Automotive industry group works with original equipment manufacturers and suppliers. The Consumer Goods & Services industry group serves food and beverage, alcoholic beverage, household goods, personal care, tobacco, fashion/apparel, agribusiness and consumer health companies around the world. The Industrial Equipment industry group serves the industrial and electrical equipment, automotive supplier, consumer durable and heavy equipment industries. The Infrastructure & Transportation Services industry group serves companies in the construction, infrastructure management (ports, airports, seaports and road-tolling facilities) and mass transportation industries. The Life Sciences industry group works with pharmaceutical, medical technology and biotechnology companies. The Retail industry group serves a wide range of companies, including supermarkets, hardline retailers, mass-merchandise discounters, department stores, and fashion and other specialty retailers. Resources operating group serves the chemicals, energy, forest products, metals and mining, utilities and related industries. The Resources operating group comprises the following industry groups: Chemicals, Energy, Natural Resources and Utilities. The Chemicals industry group works with a wide cross-section of industry segments, including petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, polymers and plastics, gases and agricultural chemicals, among others. The Energy industry group serves a wide range of companies in the oil and gas industry, including upstream, downstream, oil services and clean-energy companies. The Natural Resources industry group serves the metals, mining, forest products and building materials industries. The Utilities industry group works with electric, gas and water utilities around the world to respond to an evolving marketplace. The company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.

Pierre Nanterme, Chief Executive Officer
Pierre Nanterme is Accenture’s chief executive officer.
Mr. Nanterme is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, investors and other stakeholders. Mr. Nanterme is Accenture’s primary decision maker and policy maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. He serves on Accenture’s Board of Directors and leads Accenture's Global Management Committee.
Mr. Nanterme exemplifies Accenture’s commitment to helping its clients achieve high performance. He is a proven leader with deep expertise in developing strong client relationships, a passion for building outstanding client teams and a disciplined focus on operations and execution.
In his 29-year career with Accenture, Mr. Nanterme has held a wide variety of leadership positions across key parts of Accenture’s business. Prior to becoming CEO in January 2011, he was group chief executive of Accenture's Financial Services operating group, which serves clients in the banking, capital markets and insurance industries. In 2006, he joined Accenture’s global leadership team, where he directly contributed to the planning and execution of Accenture’s successful long-term business strategy.
From May 2006 through August 2007, Mr. Nanterme was chief leadership officer, with primary responsibility for Accenture's leadership development program. In that role, he oversaw Accenture's corporate citizenship initiatives globally. He also served as Accenture’s country managing director for France from November 2005 through August 2007.
Mr. Nanterme spent much of his earlier career with Accenture in the Financial Services operating group, where he served as managing director for Europe, Africa and Latin America; managing director of the Core Europe operating unit; and global managing director of Accenture's Insurance industry group. Other leadership positions that Mr. Nanterme has held at Accenture include managing director of the Strategy group in West Europe and managing director of the company's client group in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Mr. Nanterme represents Accenture in a number of external venues. He serves on the B20’s Green Growth task force, and previously served on its Economic Policy working group. He is also a member of the BUSINESSEUROPE Corporate Advisory and Support Group and is on the board of TransAtlantic Business Dialogue.
Outside of Accenture, Mr. Nanterme has been the president of the MEDEF Commission for Economic and Public Finance since 2005 and is a member of MEDEF’s executive board.
Mr. Nanterme joined Accenture in 1983 and became a partner in 1993. He graduated from ESSEC (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) Business School in Paris.
David P. Rowland , Chief Financial Officer
David Rowland is Accenture's chief financial officer with responsibility for the company’s Corporate Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Client Finance and Commercial Directors, Finance Operations, Corporate Development and Transaction Services and Strategic Planning & Analysis functions. Mr. Rowland is a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and serves on the board and as Audit Committee chair for Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft. Prior to being named CFO in July 2013, Mr. Rowland served for more than six years as Accenture’s senior vice president—Finance, with responsibility for the company's Finance Field Operations organization, which includes client finance, country controllership and group finance activities. Earlier in his career with the company, Mr. Rowland held a number of finance leadership positions including managing director—Finance Operations and finance director for Accenture's two largest operating groups, Communications & High Tech and Products. Mr. Rowland began his career with Accenture in 1983 in the Consulting group and spent several years serving clients across a variety of industries. He has served on a number of management committees and has also played significant leadership roles in a number of company-wide initiatives, including the global implementation of the SAP enterprise software system. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Rowland has served on several civic and charitable boards. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the College of Management at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Rowland holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jo Deblaere, Chief Operating Officer
Jo Deblaere is Accenture’s chief operating officer, responsible for leading the company’s business operations globally, executing Accenture’s business strategy and ensuring operational excellence company-wide. Mr. Deblaere also leads enterprise risk management for Accenture, working across the company to identify, assess and actively manage enterprise risks. He is also a member of Accenture's Global Management Committee and chairs Accenture’s Capital Committee. Prior to becoming COO in September 2009, Mr. Deblaere was chief operating officer of Accenture’s outsourcing business globally, a position he held since 2006. In this role he was instrumental in driving operational excellence across Accenture’s $9 billion outsourcing business and in leading Accenture’s outsourcing industrialization agenda. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Deblaere led Accenture’s global network of business process outsourcing delivery centers. From 2000 to 2005, he had overall responsibility for Accenture’s work with public-sector clients in Western Europe. Earlier in his career, he worked with numerous clients in a variety of industries including automotive, metals, energy, chemicals, media and entertainment, and public service. Mr. Deblaere joined Accenture in 1985 and became a partner in 1996. He holds a degree in business administration and information management from KU Leuven in Belgium. Mr. Deblaere is based in Brussels.
