The Performance Products segment engages in the manufacturing, marketing, assembly, software sales and related services. It also provides strategic consulting services for marketing and sales; product development; production; procurement; cost reduction management; operations management; mergers and acquisitions; suppliers of the automotive and transportation industries; and manufacturers of passenger cars, heavy trucks, construction machinery and agricultural equipment. The company designs and analyzes software products to use in applications, such as power train development and vehicle integration processes. It has operations in China, Czech Republic, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States of America. The company was founded by Harry Ricardo in 1915 and is headquartered in Shoreham-by-Sea, the United Kingdom.
