Jaime Bohnke of Tyco International: A New Position in Procurement?
George R. Oliver,
Chief Executive Officer
George R. Oliver is the chief executive officer of Tyco and was elected to the company’s Board of Directors in 2012. He joined Tyco in July 2006, serving as president of Tyco Safety Products from 2006 to 2010 and as president of Tyco Electrical & Metal Products from 2007 through 2010. He was appointed president of Tyco Fire Protection in 2011. Before joining Tyco, he served in operational leadership roles of increasing responsibility at several General Electric divisions. Mr. Oliver has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (“WPI”) and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of WPI.
Judith A. Reinsdorf,
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Judith A. Reinsdorf is executive vice president and general counsel for Tyco International. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s legal organization, which includes corporate governance and compliance, as well as the company’s public affairs, security and environment, health and safety functions.
Reinsdorf rejoined Tyco in March 2007 after having served as vice president, general counsel and secretary of C. R. Bard, Inc., from October 2004 to February 2007. Previously, she served as vice president and corporate secretary for Tyco International from 2003 to 2004 and was vice president and associate general counsel at Pharmacia Corporation from 2000 to 2003. From 1995 to 2000, she held the position of assistant general counsel and then chief legal counsel, corporate, at Monsanto Company. Reinsdorf holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rochester and a juris doctor degree from Cornell Law School.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Arun Nayar is an executive vice president and the chief financial officer of Tyco, responsible for managing the company’s financial risks and overseeing its global finance functions, including tax, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, audit, and investor relations teams. Nayar has a career in finance that spans more than 35 years. He joined Tyco in 2008 as the company’s senior vice president and treasurer, and was also the CFO of ADT Worldwide. From 2010 until September 2012, he was senior vice president, financial planning & analysis, investor relations and treasurer. Before joining Tyco, Nayar spent six years at PepsiCo, most recently as CFO of global operations, and before that as vice president and assistant treasurer of capital markets. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delhi, India.
