The Infrastructure & Cities segment provides integrated mobility solutions, building and security systems, power distribution equipment, smart grid applications, and low- and medium-voltage products. The Equity Investments segment focuses on home appliances, telecommunications, and communication networks. The SFS segment supplies capital for infrastructure, equipment, and operations. The company was founded by Werner von Siemens and Johann Georg Halske on October 12, 1847 and is headquartered in Munich, Germany.
