In October 2000, he joined Philips as Executive Vice-President of Consumer Electronics in Europe and served as Chief Executive Officer of the Lighting Sector since 2008. He served as Phillips Consumer Electron Services Department as Chief Administrative Officer and also served as Group Selling and Marketing Vice-President since 1994 and Group Market Vice-President.
