Vivi experienced a heart attack and then complications at a short term acute care hospital that led to a coma and bilateral amputation of her legs. She was taken to Kindred Hospital South Florida Ft. Lauderdale where the staff began to work with her and encourage her to participate in recovery. She was discharged from the hospital to Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Northfield where the staff continued her care by getting her on her new legs and back to her life.
