South Jersey Energy Co. involves in both retail gas and retail electric activities. The Retail Gas and Other operations include natural gas acquisition and transportation service business lines. The Retail Electric operations consists electricity acquisition and transportation to commercial and industrial customers. The On-Site Energy production consists of Marina's thermal energy facility and other energy-related projects. The Appliance Service operations include South Jersey Energy Service Plus LLC. services the appliances under warranty via a subcontractor arrangement, as well as on a time and materials basis. The Retail Energy operations caption includes Retail Gas and Other, Retail Electric, On-Site Energy Production and Appliance Service operations. The company's business roots back to 1910, when the Atlantic City Gas and Water Company merged with Atlantic City Gas Company to create South Jersey Gas Co. South Jersey Industries was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Folsom, NJ.

Edward J. Graham, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Edward J. Graham is chairman, president and chief executive officer of South Jersey Industries. He also holds the title of chairman of South Jersey Gas Company. Graham joined the company in 1981 and held various professional and managerial positions prior to election as an officer of South Jersey Gas in 1988. Graham’s previous employers include the Golden Nugget, Inc. and Midlantic Banks, Inc.

An alumnus of Rider University for his undergraduate degree, Graham holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and investment from Drexel University. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. He is also an officer and member of the board of directors of Choose New Jersey, serves on the board of directors of the American Gas Association, the New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, the Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, the Public Media NJ, serves on Drexel University’s Energy and Environment Council, is a member of the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy and a member of the Lloyd Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism. In addition, Graham is a trustee of The Foundation of the New Jersey Alliance for Action, served as chairman for the 2007 Heart Walk and was honorary chairperson of the 10th Annual Special Olympics Fall Classic. Graham was also named as business honoree for the Rowan University chapter of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society.
David A. Kindlick, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
As senior vice president and chief financial officer of South Jersey Industries, David Kindlick oversees all corporate financial matters for SJI, a NYSE listed energy services holding company with both regulated and non-regulated businesses. In addition to his leadership role with SJI, Dave also holds the titles of senior vice president and chief financial officer for South Jersey Gas, one of the fastest growing natural gas utilities in the country. Dave first joined the company in 1979 as an internal auditor. Through his dedication and commitment to success, he advanced through several management and professional positions before being appointed to his current positions in 2002. An alumnus of the College of New Jersey, where he earned his undergraduate degree, Dave also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Drexel University. He serves as a member of the finance committee for the American Gas Association. He also sits on the rates and regulatory committee of the New Jersey Utilities Association where he is a past chairman. Dedicated to community service, Kindlick serves as the Treasurer on the board of trustees for Virtua and is chairman of the finance and investment committee. He also serves on the Virtua board executive committee, the compensation committee and the audit committee. In addition, he serves on the executive advisory council for the Rutgers University School of Business.
