Petrofac Ltd. provides oilfield services to the international oil and gas industries. It operates through two divisions: Engineering, Construction, Operations and Maintenance and Integrated Energy Services. The Engineering, Construction, Operations and Maintenance division designs and builds oil and gas facilities and operates, manages and maintains them on behalf of its customers. This division has four service lines, which report as three separate segments: Onshore Engineering and Construction, Offshore Projects and Operations and Engineering and Consulting Services. The Onshore Engineering and Construction segment delivers onshore engineering, procurement and construction projects. It is focused on markets in the Middle East, Africa and the Commonwealth of Independent States. The Offshore Projects and Operations segment includes its offshore capital projects service line, specialized in both offshore engineering and construction services, for green-field and brown-field projects, and the provision of operations and maintenance support, onshore and offshore. The Engineering and Consulting Services segment provide engineering services across the life cycle of oil and gas assets. The Integrated Energy Services division co-invests with partners in oil and gas production, processing and transportation assets, provides production improvement services under value aligned commercial structures and oil and gas related technical competency training and consultancy services. Its projects cover upstream developments, both green-field and brown-field, and related energy infrastructure projects. Petrofac was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

Ayman Asfari, Group Chief Executive
Ayman became Group Chief Executive of Petrofac Limited in January 2002. He joined the group in 1991 to establish Petrofac International, of which he was CEO. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry, having formerly worked as managing director of a major civil and mechanical construction business in Oman. He is a member of the board of trustees of the American University of Beirut. Ayman is 52.
Maroun Semaan, President
Maroun was appointed President in January 2012 to set up and lead the corporate development and strategy group, which aims to support the business to deliver long-term sustainable growth. Since January 2009, Maroun held the role of Group Chief Operating Officer, with overall responsibility for Onshore Engineering & Construction, Engineering & Consulting Services, Offshore Projects & Operations and Training Services. He joined the group in 1991 to establish Petrofac International. Previously, he managed oil & gas pipeline, process facilities and civil works construction contracts in Oman and Bahrain, with the Consolidated Contractors International Company. He is a member of the board of trustees of the American University of Sharjah and a founding member of the board of trustees of the Arab Forum for Environment and Development. Maroun is 55.
Tim Weller, Chief Financial Officer
Tim joined Petrofac in September and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in October 2011, having been CFO at Cable&Wireless Worldwide from May 2010 to July 2011. With more than 25 years of experience, Tim started his career with KPMG in London. He was CFO and on the main board of directors at United Utilities Group PLC for four years until May 2010, served as a non-executive director of Stanley Leisure PLC from 2003 to 2006 and he previously held financial director roles with RWE Thames Water Limited and Innogy Holdings PLC (now RWE npower Holdings PLC). He is currently a non-executive director of the Carbon Trust and of BBC Worldwide. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Tim also has a BSc in Engineering Science from the University of Exeter. Tim is 48.
Andy Inglis, Chief Executive - Integrated Energy Services
Andy Inglis joined Petrofac in January 2011 and was appointed to the Board in March 2011. Andy leads Petrofac’s Integrated Energy Services division, which was formed in June 2011. He spent 30 years with BP, most latterly as CEO of its exploration & production business. Andy was an executive director on the BP plc board between 2007 and 2010. He started his BP career as a project engineer on various North Sea projects, followed by commercial and operating roles in BP’s upstream business. He became executive vice president and deputy chief executive of BP exploration & production in 2004. He is a former non-executive director of BAE Systems plc. Andy Inglis is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Andy is 51.
Marwan Chedid, Chief Executive - Engineering, Construction, Operations and Main
Marwan was appointed to the Board in January 2012 and leads Petrofac’s Engineering, Construction, Operations and Maintenance division, which was formed in January 2012. Marwan joined Petrofac’s Engineering & Construction business as a project manager when the business was first established in Sharjah in 1992 and was subsequently promoted to regional director at the same time as becoming a member of the Engineering & Construction board. In 2007, Marwan was appointed chief operating officer of the Engineering & Construction International business with day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of overall operations. In January 2009, he was appointed managing director of Engineering & Construction Ventures. Marwan previously worked for a major civil and mechanical construction business based in the Gulf and the Middle East for 12 years and has more than 28 years’ experience in the oil & gas sector. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Marwan is 50.
