Executives

Jeremiah Fleming, Chief Executive Officer
Jeremiah Fleming, AltiGen's Chief Executive Officer has been with AltiGen since April 2007. Mr. Fleming has 25+ years of experience in the software and communications industries, primarily with smaller fast growing companies, and has a strong background in sales, marketing and business development. Prior to joining AltiGen, Mr. Fleming was at Interactive Intelligence, Inc. where he served in an executive management capacity for the past ten years, including international responsibilities, culminating in his role as president of the Vonexus subsidiary launched in 2004. Prior to that, Mr. Fleming spent five years at Software Artistry in various management positions, including Vice President, Domestic Sales, and 5 years at Computer Associates in various sales and sales management capacities. Mr. Fleming holds both B.A and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Missouri.
Philip M. McDermott, Chief Financial Officer
Philip M. McDermott, AltiGen's Chief Financial Officer, has served AltiGen in this capacity for ten+ years. His long time experience in the communications industry includes positions at 3Com Corp. where he served as Director of Finance America Sales from 1995 to June 1999. Mr. McDermott has also held the position of VP of Finance, Operations, and Administration for Chipcom Corp. Prior to Chipcom, Mr. McDermott served as CFO for four years at David Systems Inc. and has also held executive positions with Prentice Corp. and Northern Telecom. He received certified Management Account accreditation from the Society of Management Accounting in Montreal, Canada.
Mike Plumer , Vice President of Sales
Mike Plumer is AltiGen’s Vice President of Sales joined AltiGen in 1996, serving in numerous positions of increasing management responsibility, ultimately being promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2000. In his role, Mr. Plumer is responsible for all direct and channel sales activities worldwide. Mr. Plumer has been instrumental in developing AltiGen’s sales channel and in leading the company’s new direct sales initiative into mid-market and enterprise accounts. Prior to serving as VP of Sales, Mr. Plumer held the positions of Senior Director of National Sales and Eastern Regional Manager. Mr. Plumer holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Iowa State University.
Simon Chouldjian, Vice President of Hardware Engineering
Simon Chouldjian, Vice President of Hardware Engineering, joined AltiGen after serving as founder and VP of Engineering at Luxcom Inc. Mr. Chouldjian held design engineering and managerial positions for several years at Hewlett-Packard and TRW. He received his MS in Electrical Engineering form Stanford University and his BS in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Shirley Sun , Vice President of Research and Development
Shirley Sun is the Vice President of Research and Development for AltiGen. Prior to her role, Ms. Sun was the Director of IP Telephony for AltiGen. She has also held a management position in software development for a remote server access product line at 3Com Corp. Before her role at 3Com, Ms. Sun was the cofounder and Engineering Manager for Centrum Communications, Inc. Ms. Sun was a key contributor to the design, architecture, and building of the remote access server product from ground up. She has also held technical positions Novell and Vitalink Communications. Ms. Sun earned her MS in Computer Science from Utah State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from National Central University in Taiwan.
David Tang , Vice President of Cloud Communication Solutions
David Tang is AltiGen’s Vice President of Cloud Communication Solutions. He joined in 2011 to help develop and launch AltiGen’s unified mobile convergence strategy into the service provider market. Mr. Tang is currently responsible for driving AltiGen’s cloud strategy and is leading the company’s Marketing and Product Management initiatives. Prior to joining AltiGen, he was Vice President of Global Marketing at VoSKY Technologies where he built global distribution channels for VoSKY’s Skype for Business Gateways in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. In addition, he was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Anta Systems and served in multiple strategic positions under the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at SBC Communications (now AT&T). Mr. Tang was a Monsanto Scholar at Webster University where he earned a bachelors degree in International Marketing and Mathematics.
