Eurazeo SA is a French investment company that resulted from the merger of two investment companies, Eurafrance and Azeo. The company's portfolio of investments included private equity, investments in listed companies, real estate investment and other interests. It also manages assets for third parties. The company was founded in April 2001 and is headquartered in Paris, France.


Patrick Sayer, Patrick Sayer Chairman
Patrick Sayer has been Chairman of Eurazeo’s Executive Board since 2002. Previously, he was a senior partner at Lazard Frères et Cie in Paris and Managing Director of Lazard Frères & Co in New York. His private equity experience dates back to the creation of Fonds Partenaires, where he was active from 1989 to 1993. He subsequently helped redefine the investment strategy of Gaz et Eaux which had become Eurazeo. Education Patrick Sayer is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (1980), of Ecole des Mines de Paris (1982) and of the French Financial Analyst center.
Virginie Morgon, Deputy CEO
Virginie Morgon is Deputy CEO of Eurazeo and President and CEO of Eurazeo North America. She oversees the firm’s investments and divestitures, and helps identify, accelerate and enhance the transformation potential of the companies in which Eurazeo invests. In September 2016, Ms. Morgon opened Eurazeo’s New York office and oversees a team focusing on mid-market investments in the consumer products and business services sectors in the U.S. Ms. Morgon was the youngest managing senior partner at Lazard Frères et Cie in Paris. During her 16-year tenure, she advised international groups such as Air Liquide, Danone, Kingfisher, Publicis and Renault. She began her career as an investment banker in New York and London. Since 2011, Ms. Morgon has been regularly ranked on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women International 50 list. Ms. Morgon has been a member of Eurazeo’s Executive Board since January 2008. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Asmodee, Moncler, and Desigual and is an independent Board member of L’Oreal and Vivendi. She is Vice Chair of the Paris Committee for Human Rights Watch and is a founding member of the Women’s Forum for Economy & Society. Virginie Morgon has a degree from l’Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Economics and Finance section) and holds a Master in Economics and Management (MIEM) from the University of Bocconi (Milan, Italy).
Philippe Audouin, Chief Financial Officer
Philippe Audouin joined Eurazeo in 2002. He began his career by starting his own company, and then became the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Managing Director (“Prokurist”) in Germany of the first joint venture of France Telecom and Deutsche Telekom. From 1996 to 2000, he was in charge of finance, human resources and administration at France Telecom’s Multimedia division, and was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Pages Jaunes. From April 2000 to February 2002, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Europ@Web (part of Groupe Arnault). He taught for five years at HEC Business School, including a position as senior lecturer for third-year students in the Entrepreneurs program.
