D-Box Technologies, Inc. designs, manufactures and markets leading edge high-technology motion systems mainly suited to the needs of the entertainment industry. It uses motion effects specifically programmed for each team, TV series or video game, which are sent to a motion generating system integrated within either a platform or a seat. The company also provides its products for use in movie theaters, home theaters, video games, arcades, industrial simulation, healthcare and museums. It offers two lines of simulators namely Odyssee and Quest. Odyssee consists of four actuators installed under a platform. Quest is an armchair with motion simulation system installed in the arms. D-Box's products are marketed principally in North America. D-Box Technologies was founded by Philippe Roy on June 19, 1998 and is headquartered in Longueuil, Canada.
