Great Panther Silver Limited is a primary silver mining and exploration company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, trading under the symbol GPR and on the NYSE MKT, trading under the symbol GPL.  The Company's current activities are focused on the mining of precious metals from its two wholly-owned operating mines in Mexico, Topia and Guanajuato.  Great Panther is also in the process of developing its San Ignacio Project with a view to production in 2014, and has two exploration projects El Horcon and Santa Rosa.  The Company is also pursuing additional mining opportunities within Latin America, with the goal of adding to its portfolio of mineral properties. 

Great Panther's mission is to become a leading primary silver producer by acquiring, developing and profitably mining precious metals.

Long-Term Silver Prices Coming Back Up: Great Panther CEO

Kitco News talks with Great Panther Silver CEO Robert Archer about silver prices and the company's focus on production and cost efficiency. Although the mining industry has been suffering from a lack of investment capital, Archer says that is not a major concern. He added the company has $40 million in working capital and is more concerned with metal prices as it affects the company's revenues. With regards to silver price forecasts, Archer states that there is long-term demand for silver and expects prices to rebound down the road. Kitco News, May 23, 2013.

R. W. (Bob) W. Garnett, CA, ICD.D., Chairman
Mr Garnett is a Chartered Accountant in the Province of British Columbia and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Commerce) from Simon Fraser University. He is currently the Vice-Chair of the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (Translink) and chairs their Audit Committee. He also serves on the board of VRX Worldwide Inc. and is chair of the Audit Committee. From 2009 to 2010 he was a director and member of the Audit Committee of Central 1 Credit Union which is the liquidity provider to credit unions in Ontario and British Columbia. In 2007 he completed the Certified Director's Program with the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Robert A. Archer, P.Geo., Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Archer is a co-founder of the business and as Chief Executive Officer and a director, he is responsible for the development of the strategic direction Great Panther Silver. Mr. Archer has more than 30 years’ experience working for mining companies throughout North America, including Newmont Exploration of Canada Ltd., Rio Algom Exploration Inc., Placer Dome Canada Ltd. and Noranda Exploration Inc. He also served as President of Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd.
Presently, he also serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Cangold Limited, and is a non-executive director of Altair Ventures Incorporated, both publicly listed companies on the TSX Venture Exchange.
W. James Mullin, B.Sc. Director
Mr. Mullin, spent his entire 33 year career with Newmont Mining Corporation, holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a retired Professional Engineer in British Columbia.

After advancing through progressively senior roles at the Similkameen Mine in Princeton, BC (now Copper Mountain), he was appointed Vice President and General Manager of that operation. In 1989, he moved to Nevada where he managed several of Newmont's operations. His career culminated in the position of Senior Vice President of North American Operations. His responsibilities included open pit and underground mines and processing plants in Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Mr. Mullin has a lengthy, successful history of establishing safety and production records, with particular emphasis on cost reduction, improving efficiencies and developing operating synergies between mine sites. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Mullin became skilled at the integration and reorganization of operations to achieve substantial improvements in processes and cost savings.
John Jennings, MBA, CFA, Director
John Jennings brings almost three decades of experience in the Canadian and international financial services with leading firms including BMO Nesbitt Burns, Lehman Brothers International, RBC Financial, HSBC Group and CIBC. As a mining analyst and senior investment banker, Mr. Jennings has executed numerous M&A assignments and raised both debt and equity capital for public, private and sovereign clients. Mr. Jennings recently joined Korn/Ferry International, the world's largest executive search and talent management firm. Mr. Jennings earned his B.Sc. (Chemistry) from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from London Business School. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. Mr. Jennings is the Chair of the Compensation Committee.
Kenneth W. Major, P. Eng., Independent Consultant
Mr. Major graduated from McGill University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1976. He brings to the Company more than 35 years of experience in the mining industry, including operations and management with Sherritt Gordon Mines and Newmont Mining. In 1994 he became an owner/partner in the start of Rescan Engineering Ltd., an engineering company providing feasibility study and engineering services to the mining industry. Rescan Engineering Ltd. was subsequently acquired by HATCH Engineers and became the global hub for the development of mining and mineral processing engineering opportunities. In 2006 Mr. Major left HATCH Engineers to become an independent processing consultant, KWM Consulting Inc., and has continued to provide services to the mining community, including major companies such as Newmont Mining, Goldcorp and Agnico-Eagle.
Geoffrey Chater, B.Sc, Director
Mr. Chater holds a B.Sc. in Geology and has more than 24 years of experience in the mineral and mining industries operating in North America, South America and Africa. He is the principal of Namron Advisors, a consultancy that provides corporate strategy, transaction related business development and capital markets relationship development, financing and communications advice. Recently he served as President of Valley High Ventures Ltd., and from 1999 to 2008, he was Manager of Corporate Relations for First Quantum Minerals Ltd. Prior to joining First Quantum he held positions with Nevada Pacific Gold Ltd., Eldorado Gold Corporation, Ivanhoe Capital Corporation, Fairbanks Gold Ltd. and Cornucopia Resources Ltd. Mr. Chater is currently a Director of Bearing Resources Ltd., Kiska Metals Ltd., Lara Exploration Ltd., Luna Gold Corp. and Reservoir Minerals Inc.
